Thank you page – My friend Don

I wrote a Thank you and dedication page a few days ago. This book is being dedicated to my very good friend Don. Her name (Yes, her name is Don) was one of the reasons I named my main character as Don. It was Don who truly inspired me to write the book. After I received the last email from Josie, I closed the email and just knew it was going to make a good book. So I started it but it stalled quickly. I guess I just did not feel I had the emotional support I needed to write it. I did not feel very inspired, not knowing if this book was going to take off or if I would have anyone pushing me, inspiring me to move forward. I moved about one month after I started the book and it took me two months to settle into my new place. Soon after, I was talking to Don on the phone and decided to tell her about this book I started. I told her the entire story line, and how I envisioned expressing it in a book. Don didn’t say very much as I told my story. About an hour went by and when I finished, she was quite for a moment and then said “Dean, you need to write this book!” She was so excited and enthusiastic that this was going to be an awesome story, even an awesome movie some day. Some of this post is what is included in the page I wrote. I wanted to get this up so Don could see it. She is such a sweetheart and although she may not know it, she is always an inspiration to me. Not just with the book, but in life as well. I also wrote thanks to many others, but Don is the main focus on this page. Don sweetheart, I love you and you have no idea how much you have motivated and inspired me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and may God bless you in all of your life endeavors.
