THE VICISSITUDE

FROM TITAN NASH

More of them parting, Don’s return. - The Big Picture

August 19, 2007 · Titan Nash

I have been rather busy with work the last few weeks. I decided to only work a few hours this weekend. Tonight I felt inspired to write bits and pieces to a few sections I have already written. I added more to Don’s departure from Trinial and his return, the first few days back and not only his thoughts, but the trauma that this caused for Josie, who is devastated be her loss, that Don does not feel or remember. I also stepped back and thought about the big picture. Thinking about the storyline from beginning to end, the entire plot, the outcome, the way the story is put together, I am in awe. I am rather particular about what I read and what movies I watch and I think about my book and I think to myself, this is a story I would love to read, this is one book I would feel would make a great movie as well. This would be a movie I would love to see, anticipate and enjoy. I am pouring my heart and soul into this book. It will not be what I want it to be unless I can describe in intricate detail the feelings, the thoughts and the actions of every single scene. I want my readers to walk away from reading this book as if it happened to them, so they know every feeling, every thought and every action the characters took, as if it were their own. I want them to pick a character and relate to them, experience them. Music is something I relate to, the lyrics. My favorite songs are not always hits, but they pull me in and I can relate to them. This is what I want my book to do to my readers. Back to the book, enjoy.
